hey guys i have a new s/m
intel i5 3570
gigabyte b75 d3h
4 GB ram(crusair)
4 gb asus nvidia 630 video card
1 TB WD hdd
with proper power supply...
whenever i try to install win7 or even vista after sometime a blue screen appears with msg

"windows has detected an error and must shutdown immediately to prevent damage to your PC"

and it lasts until i restart the computer. i can't install any latest windows

but when i tried to install win xp (sp-2) it worked :pfff:

i searched for solution and i found this to change bios setting from IDE to ACHI so i did and tried then the installation process stood longer but then the same problem...

i don't know what to do..plzz HELP plzzzzzzzzz

You probably formatted the HDD with the BIOS in IDE(??) If so, set it in ACHI and formatt the HDD, then install Windows 7.
