ati + nvidia = not working

I have a nvidia mx 200 64mb graphics card and im putting in a tv tuner (ati). After updating the ati drivers it tells my that my nvidia card doesnt have the right drivers and the tv card wont give tv picture. Anyone come across anything like this before??

I know a sorny when i see one.

I don't have any experience with this, but a friend who has told me once that Ati and nVidia drivers REALLY don't like each other.
