Hello,
My computer was displaying display errors and on re-start I got the BSOD (Bad_pool_header), it did a memory dump and re-started. On re-start when I pressed F8 expecting the choice of safe mode all I got was a choice of which drive I wanted to boot from and what ever I choose the computer will not boot. If I do not select F8 on restart the option is displayed to repair, which runs for about 3mins before it says nothing to fix.

The graphics card has been removed (new one tomorrow) how when I add the new card do I boot?

Thanks
ASUS P9X79 mobo, I7, Windows 7 64-bit

Thanks Brett,

I guess I download the Hiren, put on a CD, insert CD then start computer. Will this automatically boot? as the cd looks just like a massive collection of useful tools?

Thanks for that, looks like I will be inserting the widows 7 disk and formatting and re-installing in case there are viruses?
