On ATI/AMD's site it says you need at least one display port and at least one vga/dvi/hdmi. For the latter, can I use the second displayport? The graphics card has 2 displayports and would like to use them both.

You.... should be able to, yes.

I know you can daisy-chain monitors with display port, so it would be logical to assume you can use both ports; they wouldn't give you two, otherwise.

Alright. Just double-checking since the monitor I'm buying comes with displayports.

You can use as many display ports as you wish, the minimum is 1 when combining with other ports.

Remember the old eyefinity edition graphics cards that came with nothing but 6 display ports?
