Need new GPU

Hi, my GPU just started to cause a bunch of dotted vertical lines across the the screen and when i boot up it lasts a few seconds and it will freeze. I've looked into my options and what i've came to is the following: oven bake or try and solder it? it's abit dusty though but i doubt it could be that alone..

My specs (relatively old pc):

AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core CPU 5600+ 2.8GHz
nVidia GeForce 9600GSO 512
2G RAM
AMD MB
I'm also running Windows 7 32-bit (nVidia Edition)
