Hello, I've recently installed a Sapphire 7970 upgrading from a 4870 I think it was. Anyway when I try and play a game on the 1920x1080 resolution I end up blank borders around the image as if the screen is too large. With my lesser card I was able to run this with ease and it looked good, so there should be no problem. Now I have to choose between a horrible blurry resolution or a bordered screen. Anyone know a fix for this?

Go to Catalyst Control Center and then My digital flat panel tab then to Scaling options and set to 0%. That should do it. Hope it helps.

The way i used to have it set up was to have a 1600x900 display for when i was pottering about on the computer but allowing games to use the 1920x1080. Thanks for the help so far but any ideas on how to go about that?

Ahh Ha I just got it, Thanks to you guys for that, and adjusting my screen resolution outside of ccc has sorted it. I have it just the way I like it. Thank you
