Is $300 a reasonable price for a Lenovo IdeaCentre H420 7752-XF1 Refurbished Desktop PC - Intel Core i3-2100 3.1GHz, 6GB DDR3, 1.5TB HDD, DVDRW, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit?

Just looking for something basic to replace an ancient computer. Main uses would be Chrome, iTunes and the like, perhaps a tiny bit of photo editing. No gaming beyond solitaire :)  .

It's the tiny bit of photo editing which gives me pause. I'm guessing LR4 (or CS6) would run better on the i3. It requires Win 7 64, but I believe I can go from 32 to 64 for free.

Decisions, decisions.

Your refurb i3 comp will be many times better than that ancient pentium4 system from 8 years ago.

Actually, the i3 is meant to replace a Dell pentium 4 which is barely usable.

Yeah the system posted by theNOOBbuilder can't really run anything besides MS word.

Get the refub. Dell outlet usually has some good stuff too.

I ordered the Lenovo refurb earlier today. I've heard too many bad things about recent Dells.
