How Much Is My Computer Worth?

Hey guys, long time lurker, just finished my second build and was going to sell my first one. That being said, this is not an ad to attempt to sell my computer, I am just wanting to know the worth. I have read the threads that refer to a percentage of retail value, but as this computer was built in 2009, most of the items are discontinued, so I think you guys would best be able to give me a fair market value. Here are the specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor BX80570E8500

Western Digital WD Blue WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Kingston HyperX T1 Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model KHX8500D2T1K2/4G

More about computer worth
  1. hmm id probably pay $250-300 at most for it
  2. Like $350 tops
  3. That is what I was thinking, put it up on Craigslist for $400 since everyone automatically lowballs, but no bites. Guess it is time to wait.
  4. List it in the classifieds here and part it out if it doesn't sell for a while.
  5. I would put it up here, but I honestly don't think it would be worth it with shipping since I don't have the cases box any longer. We will see what happens.
