Can anyone tell me which processor is compatible with this config!!

your mainboard supports 775 socket cpu s..the best processor you can get for this mainboard is the intel core 2 quad.just don't forget to update your BIOS first before you upgrade your processor.

I would also like to mention that it is about time that you also consider upgrading your mainboard because even the core 2 quad is an old processor.

No you can't go with i5 or i7.your mobo supports socket lga 775.i series cpu nee socket 1155.now you not find 775 cpu.it old.its better to get new cpu and mobo.your current cpu supports upto core 2 quad core.but its expensive.
