GPU Boot Up.

Hello!
My friend recently bought a GTX 610 (For an old game), and he is telling me that His PC starts up then the display goes all blank with the GPU installed, but when he takes the GPU out it boots up normally. His PSU is way above the minimum needed for the GPU. Any Ideas?

u need 300 watt power supply to run the gpu too get display here http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt-610/specifications

He said, He took out his GPU and disabled integrated graphics and tried. But now no matter if the gpu is plugged in or not the Monitor goes black. Ideas?
