7870 Bad Capacitors

I have read online, that the 7870 Originally had bad capacitors but the issue has been found and fixed, So does this mean that the newer cards will not have this problem ?? Or is there still a chance of the BSOD ?? I also read its only a 6% chance as it is, but still hate to get a card thats one of that 6%

most smart vendors would have done a product recall. most vendors would know the week and month that the bad caps were started and then were depleted or replaced. with the date code most vendors know the ser# of cards that were built and would recall them or have an extended warranty on those cards.
