If you purchased it with the extended warranty best buy offers then you can take it back no matter what the problem is within a year. If you didnt then you can take it back within the 30 day warranty they offer with all purchases.

so the question is when the fan die some time in the future. well when it does and you still have the warranty of it maybe it is best for you to go for warranry route. but when it does when the warranty has already expired then you have to get after market cooler for it or rig it with some fan by 'do it yourself' style. some other will get a whole new card altogether because when the fan die there maybe much better card out there with better performance that might serve your need better

Would the Accelero Xtreme III work on Geforce GTX 660ti? Almost forgot would Accelero Xtreme III also be able to fit the CM6870 3AD PC? Asus H77 chipset

Doesn't the 3 Year Parts and Labor apply to Bestbuy?
