I recently updated hardward drivers on my ThinkPad T40 and ever since then
I've experienced a sound delay when I play Spider Solitaire. I uninstalled
and then reinstalled the game, but I still have the sound delay. The delay
only occurs when new cards are dealt. The game works fine, but the delay is
kind of annoying. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Hi Lunchan,

Open DirectX Diagnostics (Start > Run > type: dxdiag)
and try move the slider in the sound section to different
positions to see if you can find the one best suited for
Spider Solitaire and your current hardware drivers. :-)

I tried this out, but unfortunately, the problem is not fixed. I noticed,
though, when I play an audio file while I'm playing spider solitaire, I don't
have the problem.
