Dual screen set up

Hello,

I am trying to get a dual screen set up to work
i have a samsung syncmaster 24 inch monitor connected by DVI
and a 42 inch LG lm 660s tv. connected by hdmi
they are connected to a asus hd 6870 graphics card.

i can only run them apart and not as a extended desktop, they also wont duplicate.

the message is: unable to save display settings.

can anyone try to help me?

use the other dvi connector

the dvi and hdmi that are next to each other can't be used at the same time, but you can use the one above it.
