Do you need extended desktop? Ever looked at Matrox Millenium G550? Geforce also make chips with TV-out and TwinView. I just don't know what manufacturer makes. Them. I think Asus does. Hercules used to. Can't speak for Radeon. Tried it once. Hated it, never will again.

The gForce tv-out is cr@p compared to ATI. I've never tried a matrox card, but supposedly they are pretty good. The ATI 7500 meets your needs exactly.

thanks for all that work man.. i'll get one of those cards i guess but anyways do i really need a all in one wonder ati radeon 7500 ? i mean couldn't a normal radeon 7500 do the job ?i dun think i need the TV input for the card and the tuner. and i want to dupicate my desktop on my TV thats all. i know gforce cards have TV out too but i heard bad things about them. and yeah i think radeon 7500 performs better than a radeon 7500 AIW please inform me more , thanks everyone for trying to help me in making this decision

If you just want tv-out and don't care about tv-in then yes, get a normal Radeon 7500. It'll save you a few bucks. For even better 3D gaming get the normal Radeon 8500.

The AIW series is ment for input AND output AND DVD playback. It comes with a nifty RF remote control and better software than the regular Radeon, plus a break-out box with more jacks. If you just want to display your desktop on the TV then the normal radeon wopuld be sufficient, as it has dual output and hydravision.

The AIW 8500 is slightly underpowered in 3D gaming ability compared to its non-AIW cousin. I'm not sure on the 7500 series.

is the mpeg2-capture/tv-out/mpeg2-out/tv-tuner quality best than the old aiw ?

if you know you don't know, the way could be more easy.

The TV capture of the AIW 8500 is supposed to be better than the AIW 7500. The AIW 8500 uses a new capture chip, the AIW 7500 uses the old Phillips chip. Everything else (except 3D performance) is the same.
