Is This a Good Gaming System?

I got the following build as a suggestion for a $600-800 system and I just wanted to make sure everything meshes. the video card is out of stock but they have the ZT-60902-10M in stock, can I just drop that in instead? Also, is the wattage high enough? It was a 500W power supply here but both cards need 600W or so they say on their page. Thanks!

Those both seem to be rather expensive upgrades...I understand the need for quality parts, especially for the power supply but I'm still trying to meet my budget.

Everything else seems good though?

I thought that might be overkill. The video card with the recommended 600W is okay with the 500W PSU though?

I LOLed at your username. you should get a psu with a bit higher wattage because psu usually wear out with time, and using a 500w psu is already not recommended for your system.

everything looks good. I usually like to recommend solid state + hdd, but if you need gaming performance and don't need general speed, it looks great.

the case is appealing, but keep watching the price on amazon, it could go up. that happened with my last build: the nzxt 210 elite price skyrocketed on amazon. the case is great, but it takes a bit of patience with the LED & power switch connectors

Haha thanks, SNL Celebrity Jeopardy reference. Glad I checked back, I was just about to order everything. And yes, my main concern is gaming, everything else I can do at work or bear with slower speed, but not when it comes to my gaming :non:

Do you have a psu you'd recommend? Or should I just go same brand higher wattage? (600+?)

At this point it's actually cheaper than what I can find on those three....except for the Samsung which is out of stock on NewEgg.

Sure if cheaper is what you are going for. FYI GSkill makes the Viper in a CAS9 and CAS11 part with the later being cheap ram that looks like the other. If your going for cheap CAS11 ram you can go even cheaper.

For 39 bucks(use promo code EMCXVVW38 to reduce to $39 in your cart)
