Hey guys, I am an semi-experienced computer builder as I have built basic computers for my school in a computer maintenance class and I have come to the conclusion that my console is aging and I want t build a decent computer that can run some of the newest games on either ultra or very high presets. I have searched around on pre-built systems such as Cyberpower PC and Alienware, but frankly they don't give as much of a description as I would like. I have consulted by computer teacher and some PC knowledgeable friends, but they've said to stick to a custom system.d This is my first build for home use and I want to invest in decent parts that will last for a good while, but won't break the bank. My personal limit is around $1000 dollars, but I want to try to see if I can narrow it down to around $800 dollars. I chose my parts from us.ncix.com and I did a similar build on Tigerdirect.com because there is local Comp USA near my home.

I want at least an i5 3570k and a gtx 660ti for the build at a minimum and also at leat 8gb of RAM. If possible can you please list the components and prices.

Games I will be playing are Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Elder Scrolls online and Battlefield 3, Diablo 3, Team Fortress 2, Minecraft, Fallout New Vegas and other such titles. I want at least above 40 fps on Ultra if possible.

Main Points
-At least between $500- $800 Dollars, $1000 at the MAXIMUM!
-I want to stick with Intel and Nvidia.
-At least a good power supply with at least 750 watts and a case to support future upgrades.
-Future upgradable

-Thank You and please respond ASAP

Start here:

Then you can check out http://www.pcpartpicker.com/ and do some test builds, where you can see compatibility options and such or http://www.newegg.com .

You have to start the leg work in at least 2 regards I believe are important:
1) Your case. We don't know your tastes. What I think is cool may not be what you do.
2) Motherboard. What options do you NEED or WANT? USB 3.0 rear or front? SLi considerations down the road? PS2 for an old keyboard you love and don't want to part with, etc.
