Will I need to re-install the OS?

I always back everything up and do a format when replacing a motherboard, but i suppose you could get away with out formatting.

Mkae sure to install the correct drivers after.

Safest answer is Yes, do a full install. You MAY be able to do a repair install to get the proper drivers. Good Luck!
