Win8 failure or misunderstood?

I downloaded, or tried to download, Windows 8 from the Arvato Sight in Valencia, Ca.. I paid for the upgrade and have my
product key, etc.. The upgrade FAILED TO LOAD, I have called Microsoft, tried to find an answer on the Arvato sight, and had absolutely NO RESPONSE from anyone to get this problem fixed!!! Microsoft gave a code no. to me and the website
person tried to charge me over $100 for what I had already paid for!!

how CAN IN RELOAD WINDOWS 8???????????

there are two windows cd out there the full version oem/retail and the upgrade cd. most upgrade cd i used are not bootable.
if the iso image you have is bootable use the microsoft iso to usb program here.

the usb tool or cd-rom program has to make the cd bootable.
you have to boot from the tool to have windows install itself right. if you run it from inside windows you end up with a wind.old folder.
