I am trying to figure out how to transfer video from my camcorder to my firewire port on my audigy xgamer. Does anyone know if this is possible with the software that comes with the card or do I need to buy additional software? It did come with firenet 2.0 but I think that is just to network pcs together with firewire.

Any help will be appreciated.

What version did you buy, the OEM version or the Full retail models, Also, what OS do you have. To connect the digital camcorder, all you have to do is connect and go, unfortunatly, you will need to buy software to do any editing unless you have Windows XP or ME (I highly recommend you do not use ME with video editing as it is very unstable.

If it works for you then don't fix it.
