Noob flavored first gaming build on a budget - HELP

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: this week or next

Budget Range: ~500 before rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, the net, music

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: none

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg or amazon

Location: flagstaff, az, USA

Parts Preferences: cheap and effective

Overclocking: maybe, but not necessary

SLI or Crossfire: not important, but if you recommend it....

Your Monitor Resolution: dunno, whatever works

Additional Comments: trying to play minecraft at higher settings and eventually other games

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: my current computer is crap. it was gifted to me. and i got my tax return.

here's my build:

i'm using my old DVD burner, monitor, mouse, keyboard, and OS.

is this build legitimate, compatible, and maxed out for the price?
also, i'm a total noob and this will be my first NEW 'puter. do i need to buy cables and whatnot for the mobo and everything? does this all come with the product?
