Teac 24x10x40

Can anyone tell me if the Teac 24/10/40 is a good burner compared to the Plextor? I've narrowed down my choices to these two and would like to know which is the best.

Most will say the Plextor is better, but the Teac is cheaper.

I've never used a Plextor personally (two friends have them with mixed feelings). I have a Teac 12/10/32 (as does another friend), and I love it.
