Original thread is above,

I finally have the $ to spend now,and some of these parts have gone up in price since I last asked around,

Budget is still about 1000, but less would be amazing if you can help manage it!
Looking for everything outside of keyboard/mouse. Need monitor, mouse, windows, and the works

I would like to order most of it tomorrow to give it all a shot and pray it works, since I realized with newegg they have a 30 day rma policy, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

p.s. Sorry for not bumping thread instead of posting new one, but I wanted to leave open the option for best selected answer since I had already hit it on that thread :C

pps the 7870 card really seems to be the one for me, so I'm mostly going to have to wait on it to be restocked i suppose :\
and looking to use one of these cases,

Thank you again for the super fast reply man, can I ask why you swapped for the i5 compared to the 6300?

Because the i5 is a better cpu, and it's less expensive now, so you can afford it.

...Just my luck... discontinued the video card =[

Any other suggestions for a replacement that are compatible with the other parts and my needs?

Yes, but i'd get the 7870 tahiti le, you can wait for it in newegg or get it in superbiiz, it's a legit website.

Yea I think that is what I'm going to do, because the 7950 would be a little over budget for me and I'm already pushing it at a 1k budget anyway haha, do you know much about their customer service and returns just in case of doa? (the UPS around here is awful...which I saw they unfortunately ship with ;c)

Oh and is this power supply compatible with the build? The other was sold out z.z

Also the superbiz website doesn't accept prepaid visa's (gift card) which I am stuck using for this.. any other suggestions besides waiting? I'd rather order it all asap so that I don't lose out on the 30 day RMA policy of newegg :\ (in case of doa's)

I'd hate to have to make a compromise on the gpu but I think I might have too, hopefully I can have the option of crossfireing in the nearish future

I'm actually considering the 7950, my full budget right now is 1150 on the dot, after tax shipping and everything, with this little extra I think I can fit the 7950 in and still have room to either grab a keyboard/speakers or mouse for the gf (since she's getting my old laptop), sound reasonable?

I'm just not sure what I'd really gain since I do know that most gpu's don't really benefit past 2gb of memory on them, at least from what I understand

I'd get the 7870 tahiti le either the wait it for one in newegg or you can get it the sapphire 7870 XT in amazon for 245$, and it comes with the games.

But if you plan to buy crysis 3, you can get the sapphire 7950 in newegg, it has crysis 3 and bioshock infinite, and it's slightly better than the 7870 tahiti le.

I think I'll go with the 7950, thank you so much for all your help man, I truly appreciate ya :D

One FINAL question (promise!) before I let you go =p

Would all of these fit appropriately in the case I am looking at?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

It seems to be a decent sized one so I believe it should go well, but I've read that this card is very long!

Yes, it should fit, but i'd get the nzxt source 220 or the Corsair 200R, which can fit any card, and you can remove the hdd bay for it to fit.
