Hi guys,
I'm going to start to make gaming videos.
I currently have a
i7 2600K (no oc)
16gb 1600mhz GSkill
Asus Nvidia GTX 560TI
2x Segate 500gb Hdds
Dual Screen Setup (only one while on games not one game on two screens)

I personally believe my GPU is letting me down and I'm thinking about upgrading to a GTX670.
I'm not sure if this will improve my FPS in recording to make it worth the money.
I will be recording BF3, Dayz, Arma 2, Minecraft, HL2, Garrys mod, Mass Effect 3 and TF2.
Im gonna use dxtory for recording at 1080p with 40000kbps
What framerates will i see for each of those game ?

i was checking out a youtube channel the other day and the owner had upgraded from gtx 680 to 690 so he could record latest games (bf3 aftermatch dlc, far cry 3) @ 1080p with all eye candy turned up - it didnt miss a frame

i know thats some jump, 400GBP to 800GBP gpu !!!

for bf3 i guess it really depends on the amount of eye candy @ 1080p (hbao, ssao, AA etc) but the 670 should destroy those other games when recording

I have 2GB GTX 670 and would guess youll have to play with the settings to see what you're happy with - if you already know what in game eye candy settings you will use I can capture some bf3 footage using your settings and post back - i need an excuse to play bf3 as I have not touched it for 2 months lol, let me know - of course my system is not your system but it might give an indication plus get me back on the battlefield ;-)

how is your experience recording the other games with 560ti (Dayz, Arma 2, Minecraft, HL2, Garrys mod, Mass Effect 3 and TF2)

how is your experience recording the other games with 560ti (Dayz, Arma 2, Minecraft, HL2, Garrys mod, Mass Effect 3 and TF2)
most 40 fps but dayz (which is going to be more than half of my recordings) is 30-5 fps

Yea you will have a easier time with a 670 definitely I had 2 560Ti's and I have frapsed videos and I felt more performance and a more stable experience then the 2 in SLi not by much but enough to feel it. I'll play a map of bf3 and tell you what I get full multiplayer map. I'll edit when I'm done I have Gigabyte GTX670oc

While frapsing I never went below 30 frames. (in these pictures I know I wasn't recording but when I did record nothing below 30) Also, keep in mind that you have a i7 and with fraps that will be better. Fraps rides hard on CPU.
