1866 gskill ripjaws 32 gb
samsung SSD drive 500gb .. random read 100000 write 96000
2 GTX 690's SLI

i should be good for ultra res >> options.. ?

-RAM is overkill, get 2x4GB 1600MHz of RAM
-2x GTX690 SLI?really? why don't just get a GTX Titan or 2x 7970GHz edition CFX

actually the FX 8350 is the best CPU for Crysis 3 as the game loves cores, it outperforms all Intel CPU except for the 3930k and above!

i don't think so... Intel's CPU still beats the FX-8350 in both perfomance and power consumption...

FX-8350 is also a beast that is hungry for power... so you will have to pay more for your electricity if you get it...

is it? if that's what he is trying to ask then of course it will run Crysis 3 fine but that's a lot of money spend on unnecessary parts...

LOL i agree with you ... SLI GTX 690 basically = 4-way SLI GTX 680 TBH... i'd rather go for a SLI GTX 670 and upgrade to newer series of GPU in the future...

I'm just going to SLI GTX 660 TIs for now. I'll buy them one at a time. Why get something that's completely unnecessary right now when I won't be needing it? Also, if you're going to SLI GTX 690s then why not just build a new PC for that amount of money? 2k USD is enough to build a good gaming PC that can play Crysis 3.

Well thanks everyone for your imput... I actually am preparing for doom 4. And the next gen.. of games.. 2 gtx 690. Is not an ovrkill .. money is not important.. at this time.. as it goes for the chip war .. intel is good for raw calcullations amd good for games... why do you think next gen consoles will have fx chips amd... not intel .....thanks again for your respones.
