Build I'm looking at ( ~$1500)

Hello all,

So I've currently been looking into building a new system within the next week or so, which will mainly be used for gaming. Other then that it'll be the normal internet surfing, movies, and the one off use of photoshop.
I do have have 2x24inch monitors (1920x1080) which I generally do a lot of multitasking while gaming and what not.

Anyway, this is what I've come up with so far:
(The main place I looked for parts was at MSY, which is a Australian store)

CPU: Intel i5 - 3570K
CPU HSF: Noctua NH-D14
MOBO: AsRock Z77 Extreme 4
RAM: Patriot Viper 3 1600Mhz (2x8gb)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 128gb
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 670 OC
PSU: Antec HCG 620
CASE: Carbide 500R

Then I'm just gonna get like the cheapest ODD I can find.
I do plan on overclocking the CPU, maybe even the GPU in the future.
With the ram I'm not too sure which to get and also if 16gb is a little overkill for it.

Your setup looks really good. I would only use 16gb of RAM if you do frequent renders. If not, 8gb will do you just fine.

Everything looks nice to me. Not sure on the 16gb of ram since you won't be using photoshop much right?

I'll go with the 8gbs, and if I ever need it I can always upgrade that easily enough.
