Nvidia driver updates and the 670

I purchased a GTX 670 Power Edition in December and I've grown a bit concerned about the driver patchnotes.

The last few patches have had many updates, but none that have affected 670 performance.

For example, today's patch, 310.90, contained:

Quote:

-GTX 690 performance improvements for several games and applications
-GTX 680 performance improvements for
Up to 38% in Far Cry 3
Up to 26% in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Up to 16% in Battlefield 3
Up to 18% in Assassin's Creed III
Up to 9% in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Up to 6% in Medal of Honor: Warfighter
Up to 6% in StarCraft II
Up to 6% in Dragon Age II
Up to 6% in Batman: Arkham City
Up to 5% in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
-GTX 660
Up to 24% in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Up to 10% in Battlefield 3
Up to 7% in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Up to 6% in Far Cry 3
Up to 5% in Dragon Age II
Up to 5% in Assassin's Creed III
Up to 4% in Batman: Arkham City
Up to 4% in Medal of Honor: Warfighter

Skipped right over the 670. Do I have reason for concern?

More about nvidia driver updates
  1. you shouldn't be worried about that. if they list down performance increase for every nvidia cards then the list will be too long lol. i think any improvement made on GTX680 should apply to GTX670 as well since both card were based on the same chip (GK104)
  2. ^ +1

also the performance improvement via drivers is not noticeable to human eye any way
  3. Install it and Try it.

    You saw any Boost?

If, then its awesome that your card can Perform better now.
If not, Those drivers were a Gimmick
