Which card to buy?

So right now I'm looking to replace my gaming rig's graphics card, and after some advice and looking at reviews I've settled on either http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125443 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125418. They're not the greatest, but $240 is about as far as I can go. I'm currently using an old EVGA gtx 460 and wondering which of the two (or any other cards in that price range I missed) offers the greatest increase. Any help would be appreciated. I have an Asus Rampage 3 Formula mobo, 6GB of ram, and a 950w psu in case that matters.

The 7870 is faster.

7870 is in most cases slightly faster than a 660, although you really can't go wrong with either. If you have any specific games you want to play mostly (or want better performance on that game), we could offer better recommendations though.

7870 Beats a 660 in terms of fps.
Just by 5%

But GTX 660 offers TXAA, Adptive V-sync and Physx
These features are worth the Gap.

And with New Drivers (310.90). GTX 660 is Ruling out 7870

Should probably add that I intend to use them for things like Fary Cry 3 and GW2 on ultra settings, and Skyrim with plenty of hd mods. Graphically intensive games in general.

Skyrim and GW2 are CPU Bound games.
GTX 660/7870 will be fine, but main concern in those games will be CPU
