Here's my PC specs:

1.) Core i7 3930k
2.) Asus Rampage Extreme iv x79
3.) 16 GB DDR3 1600 Corsair Vengence CL8
4.) 256 GB Samsung 830 SSD
5.) WD Velociraptor 10k 600 GB HDD
6.) MSI Lightning HD7970
7.) In-Win 1200 WATT Power Supply
8.) Thermaltake Frio Cooler
9.) Windows 8

Here's what's Im doing when it crashes, this never happens during gaming by the way.

I record and edit gaming video of our team playing BF3 and War-Z. I do nothing fancy, just record with Fraps and full frame. Then since I'm a noob and don't know much about video editing, I'm using Camtasia Pro 8 trial. Nothing out of the ordinary. Here lately while rendering the video, before even getting to the point of uploading to YouTube my screen just goes grey and I have to hardboot.

I don't know if it's a problem with the video card as after the reset the PC runs fine as if it just didn't crash.

It's happened once before and went red, but most of the time the screen just goes grey.

Here's a picture of what it looks like:

I've already made sure the motherboard has the latest bios and did the same for the graphics drivers from ATI.

If you guys know anything about this or anything I should do, please let me know. I'm desperate for some help, as this is very annoying.

Thanks,
Randy

Love the way the newest drivers still haven't fixed this crash.
