Choice of strip size in RAID

My computer's configuration is:
Onboard Highpoint H370 IDE RAID controller
2X IBM 40G UDMA100 harddisks
I would like to create a RAID-0 array for performance
When I choose create array, I have the option to define the strip size such as 2k, 4k, 8k, 16k, 32k or 64k etc. If my target is performance, would 16k be a good choice??
Another problem is:
If i choose the strip size to be 16k, should I also format the partition with cluster size equal to the strip size defined in the RAID bios??
I can easily format a FAT32 partition with cluster size other than 4k easily. However, I don't know how to format a NTFS partition with cluster size other than 4k.
Anyone can give me advice??

Thank you very much

It is best to choose 64k.
This article explains a lot about RAID:

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground  .

64k is best overall, but it also depends on the size of the files you're working with.
