Hi,

I just installed windows xp pro and my cd writer doesn`t work. When I try to do an image or to transfer files from my burner, I either get a blue screen or the computer reboot.

The only drivers that I installed are my video card (powercolor geforce2 gts).

I didn`t install anything else but the official fixes from the microsoft site for xp. I installed the patch for burners but to no avail.

Here's my system:
Abit kt7
AMD Athlon Thunderbird 900Mhz
Powercolor Geforce2 GTS
Soundblaster Live
384 Mb Ram
D-Link dfe538-tx

Anybody have a clue as to where to begin??
