Currently building a computer, did I mess up on standoff screws?

I'm really worried that I may have messed up on the screws used to mount the motherboard. I have the standoffs but am not quite sure which screws to use. Also is it possible to kill the motherboard if you were trying to mount it onto the standoff and it rubbed against the standoffs?

Here's the one I'm using.

Not to worry those look fine...
As long as these go in without any cross threading they'll work good.
The silvery looking contacts that are around the mounting holes are a ground contact the screw heads are supposed to make contact with these.
This give the system a solid ground and help eliminate interference.
Just make sure you have all the screws accounted for after the build and none are trapped under the mobo....
