MOBO:- Gigabyte 78-lmt-USB3

Planning to get HD 7950 or HD 7970 Graphic Card It is having 3GB 384-bit GDDR5...
Will that 384 Bit also support for my Mobo ?

Yes it will support.pci express is backward compaitable.so pci 3.0 card work in pci 2.0 slot without any performance loss.

I would not recommend cheaping out so much on the mobo to get a 7970.


Especially not if you also cheaped out with the cpu.

Cpu: Amd Fx-8150 3.6 Ghz Processor
Ram: 4gb 1333Mhz Transcend (Planned to get another 4gb)
PSU: 600 Watts Cooler Master Thunder
Mobo: Gigabyte 78-Lmt-Usb3 ( Cheaper mobo with 2.0 Pci slot )
