Give up, Jeffffff. Just give up now. Cubs picked to win the Series, over the Yankees.......on the <A HREF="http://i.cnn.net/si/2004/magazine/03/29/main/cover_0405.jpg" target="_new">cover of Sports Illustrated</A>. Hello, SI cover jinx! Bye-bye, Cubs.
My bro cut and posted some SI: SE pics on his wall in our room, and I Photoshopped my cousin on a pic of a chick on a bull or horse. Wild!
I should Photochop myself in there, I'd be the cool guy on the block. --

Hey, I'm not the one who, according to DH, drinks his beer with pink slippers or whatever fairy wonders he wears!

Hmm, the cover jinx may already be at work. <A HREF="http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/baseball/mlb/03/30/bc.bbn.cubs.prior.ap/index.html" target="_new">Prior probably out until May</A>
So, back to the question about whether or not you have a good seat to see him on the bench at the home opener?
Quote :
MESA, Ariz. (AP) -- Mark Prior probably won't pitch until May because of inflammation in his right Achilles' tendon and a stiff elbow.
"I'd say May 1 or the first week of May is optimistic," Chicago Cubs general manager Jim Hendry said Tuesday. "He's a guy that I don't think needs more than three or four weeks to get ready."
Prior returned to spring training Tuesday after spending Monday in Chicago, where he had an MRI and bone scan on his Achilles' tendon and right arm.
The 23-year-old right-hander has not pitched in a spring training game because of the Achilles' injury and was already expected to start the season on the disabled list.
He's also felt "stiffness" in his pitching elbow. Prior has been throwing off a mound this spring.
Dude, Prior will come through... And the Cubs will prevail... Anyway, I am jsut itching for some baseball on a regular basis... No greater feeling than getting in my Jeep, dropping the top, and turning up the Cubbies!!
