[SOLVED] HD7950 compatible with mobo ASUS P8H61/USB3?

Hey guys, I've been thinking about buying the ASUS HD7950:

But I'm not sure if it's compatible with my motherboard, the ASUS P8H61/USB3:
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8H6...

The specs tab of the VGA's page says something about ensuring that my mobo has enough space for "2.5" slots for the VGA's fansink, and I'm not sure whether my mobo will support this (or even what this means, exactly).

Is my mobo good for this VGA?

I appreciate the help guys ;)

Best solution

Your motherboard will support the card sir :)  Even with it being a PCI-E 3.0 card it will work with PCI-E 2.0 :)  Basically you just need 3 slots that can support your card is what they are saying :)

Awesome! I was pretty confident of the match until I ran into that phrase. Thanks for clearing this up for me man. I'm sick of my crappy GT520 :p  . I can't play any modern game that's even remotely graphically demanding without it stuttering and giving me a quasi-seizure.
