Nvidia surround gaming OR Single nvidia 3D display??

So if you had dual gtx 680's and were about to choose your monitor set up. would you chose a triple 27inch 1920x1080 monitors for surround vision

OR

A single 27inch nvidia supported 3D display??

In your opinion which would you think is better? more "worth it"or from experience do you prefer??

Ps. i cant get a titan or gtx 690 because i already have the gtx 680's

I say go 2D surround, the extra real estate is well worth it. The 3D looks gimmicky. It's gotten to the point that if a game doesn't support triple monitors and there is no widescreen fix for it, I don't find as much time to play them as the games that do have support for resolutions up to 5760x1080.
