Sorry to ask a question first before introducing myself or posting something else on the forum.
I recently bought an ASUS AMD 7970 DirectCU II graphics card. Upon putting it in my computer and connecting 3 identical monitors to it, using 3 DVI cables connected to 3 DVI to Displayport converters (1 active, 2 passive) and starting my computer up, I noticed that a part of the window wasn't in line with the other part of the window when I moved it across the eyefinity display. The windows and full screen games are separated vertically from the rest of whatever is being moved across the area where this happens.
This area is random and the separation happens only at one area at a time, on the display. I think this is screen tearing, which can happen with graphics cards, but I thought using the same ports on the graphics card would fix the problem.
Has anybody had this problem before, has anybody been able to fix it and what did you do?
