2 monitors, 2 keyboards, 2 mice on 1 PC

Hello! i am new to tomshardware and this is my first post. i wanted to know if it is possible to run 2 users at the same time, on 2 separate monitors, keyboards etc...
Me and my brother are building a pc and we are thinking of building it with these specs:

i7 3770k
2x gtx 660s (one dedicated for each user if possible)
12gb ram (6gb dedicated to each user if possible)

all other parts should be fine.

We want to play games like bf3 together on the same computer (with different origin accounts ofcourse) with as i have said, 2 different users, 2 monitors, 2 keyboards and 2 mice.

Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3nT7NnD5ok but with only 2 monitors, keyboards etc...

is this possible?

  1. It's possible, but it will be a pain to setup.

It'll be a pain to setup though.
  3. any online tutorials?
  4. I don't know how good the tutorial is, but one guy who successfully has done it posted how he has done it:

Basically, he made two 3D gaming stations from 1 PC.
  5. Ive run across software called softxpand and im going to give that a try!
