First time builder!!!

Hi this is my first time posting her.

I was just wondering if this is a good computer build for gaming?


Intel Core i5 3570K CPU - 3.4Ghz
Z77 Motherboard
8G DDR3-1600MHz RAM
1TB Hard Disk
22x DVD Burner
ATI HD7950 Graphics Card
Antec Three Hundred Case + 600W PSU

I'm not to good with terminology and branding, or really anything to do with PC building as my friend who builds PCs for a living is helping me a lot.

not bad at all, maybe bump the PSU ap a bit maybe 700W, just in case for later unforeseen upgrades, also might be worth looking at an SSD for the OS + games,
