I ahve the Belkin Nostromo N50, a device that's worked to satisfaction
on 2 Pentium 4, and continues to work as well on one of those machines.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working on my Dell Dimension
3000. As with the other 2 computers, the Dell is an XP machine on
which I installed the Belkin software. As with the other computers,
this one detects and calibrates the Nostromo controller in the XP
control panel, and has no problem doing the same and configuring the
controller using the Belkin software.

The problem comes when I run the game: the controller just doesn't work
at all. Even after running the game by hitting launch in the Belkin
hardware manager, the controllers don't work. Games tried so far:
"Battlefield Vietnam", "Elite Force" & "Half-Life" - all of which work
otherwise normally on the computer, and work well with the Nostromo
when played on a different machine.

Any suggestions appreciated.
