I can say one thing. I bought this card with the help of the Tom's Hardware community and I love it. Just like you, I didn't want the latest and greatest graphics but I can definitely say it works wonderfully. The only thing, and this is just because of my lack of knowledge, is the HDMI seems a little sketchy. I'm actually waiting on my question to be answered.

    1. Minecraft FPS is amazing. Furthest distance I get about 27 FPS which isn't great but it's not bad.

    2. DayZ I get around 32.

    3. Black Ops 2 worked on Ultra very well, I don't know the FPS exactly lol.

    4. If you want to play Diablo III you will find you have to set the graphics sort of low to play, but it still looks nice.

    I give it an 8/10.
