I would start with hooking your machine directly up to the modem, and resetting the modem. Then run test at speedtest.net. If you are getting your full bandwidth and it stays there at least you have the problem narrowed down to your router, and you could troubleshoot from that point.
im using a virgin megia super hub its a modem and router and it is connected directly to my pc, sorry for being vague.
hi, im having the same problem!! also with virgin and using the same modem!!
have noticed that the problem starts round about lunch time (12 midday) and stays like it till about 11 at night when it sorts its self out and runs ok again.
also have notice that i get a connection message pop up from the tool bar stating "you are now connected" just after getting error message "could not conect to remote server" this happens alot, almost every time i try to load new page!
I have not changed any settings or done anything new to my computer, connection is throu wifi ( tried cable too, made no difference).
