Hello,

With quad crossfire technology nowadays does quad crossfire take into account intergrated graphics ?

AND

Basially i need to know if intergrated graphics (HD 4000) can use DX11 and i'm using 2 HD 4870 with DX10.1 will i be able to play DX11 only games (when they come out)

Many thanks

More about : 4000 dx11 dx10 gpu

No the discreat cards (The ones you add) take over so with your 4870 you will not be able to play in DX11 only mode. Also quad crossfire will not use the onboard and it could not use the HD 4000 anyway as it is not an AMD type gpu. There are cases when you have say an APU that you can crossfire a pcie card with one on the apu but it has to be the same gen card supporting the same dx.

u cannot use your integrated graphics and your graphics card together in games,
and just because your integrated graphics supports dx11, u cant expect good performance in your gpu becoz of that!
u should read this thread too

and if u have anymore questions..

Don't expect DX11 only games for a very long time. No higher than DX9 has been available for every game for 10 years.

Running SLI/CFX across cards with grossly dissimilar performances causes all sorts of performance issues so you wouldn't want to do it even if you could.

Since SLI/CFX requires deep-rooted driver support, mixing GPUs/IGPs from different sources (AMD, Intel, Nvidia, etc.) is unlikely to ever be supported.

The Intel HD 4000 is about as powerful as a Radeon HD 5550.

which model?
gddr5? gddr3? gddr2?
dosent matter even the gddr2model is faster than hd 4000

Be careful with your 'G's, many GPU card manufacturers use plain old DDR2 and DDR3 on their entry-level boards. GDDR3/5 has about twice as much bandwidth as fast DDR3.

Many people incorrectly use GDDR2/GDDR3 when talking about video memory on GPU cards because they do not seem to know the difference between bog-standard DDR2/DDR3 used on a GPU and GDDR3. Many if not most low-end GPUs use either DDR2 or DDR3.

DAMN those low end cards
