Are you planning on heaving modding and high res textures ?

Anyway this build should be fine.

    CPU:

    GPU:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127675

670 which actually runs games like BF3 and skyrim better than the 7970 will. If you want to spend the extra couple bucks to get a 7970 heres the link.

( Note the 670 does come with Borderlands 2, and Assassins Creed 3 )

    PSU:

    Motherboard:

    Case:

    HDD:

(I'm not sure if you would want a 1TB hdd, but this is the drive I have and its works amazing, and its cheap.

    Grand Total: $957.94

Heres with a SSD, brings the price up a little bit, but worth it.

    Grand Total: $1,057.93

Without a HDD and just a SSD if you would prefer.

LOL Grand Total: $1,057.94 << HAHAHA.

Also, you get $30 of MIR.

Just in case you want a Optical Drive, which I forgot to add in because I havent used one in so long. Here you go.

    Asus F2A85 VPRO mobo
It offrs a amzing crossfire with inbuilt radeon HD 7*** series discrit graphics card

This is how it gets so subjective and the ops gets thrown off
  6. Why would someone with a budget of ~1000$ get an apu processor for gaming ?
It can't crossfire with any 7xxx series, only the 6670 as top card for it.
For 1080p resolution it's not recommended any of those, you need at least a 7850/660 gtx and a faster cpu.
  7. Yeah I plan on modding, and could set it up on Pc part picker?

Yeah I was just going to pick a 7950 or 660 Ti, but for the extra 20-30 bucks I think its worth him just getting the 670. Therefore if he heavy mods skyrim it will run it fine.

Good thinking with the memory bandwidth and rops being lower on the 660ti the 670 was a better choice..Thats where i made my mistake with buying the 660ti still a great card but could of went with 670 if i was to do it again
  12. If you live near a Microcenter, you can get a 3570K for $170, saving $60 over the Egg.

Yeah I love the card. I was going toget the 670 but at the time the cheapest one was like 410+ or at least the ones that I wanted to get we're. I wish I would have just stuck with the good old 460 a little longer lol.
