Hello,

I am looking into making a $600 or less Gaming Desktop that can play most higher quality games on high settings at least. This is my first build and I have been looking around at parts for a good set-up. I am just concerned if all the parts are compatible with each other. If you could leave some constructive criticism, that would be great. This is my first custom build and I had a list given to me that was said to work fine, but a few of the parts have recently been discontinued, so I needed to swap them out. More specifically, the graphics card and power supply became discontinued, so I swapped them out, and I am now concerned it isn't all compatible anymore.

Current Parts List:

Rosewill CHALLENGER-U3 Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case ,comes with Three Fans-1x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan, 1x Top 140mm Fan, 1x Rear 120mm Fan, front mounted dual USB 3.0

PS. I also have a mouse, keyboard and monitor and all those accessories already figured out, and I'm not too nervous with those, as they are trivial.

So, any thoughts? Does this all work? Is there a cheaper, yet better, alternative for some of these parts?

Thanks in advance for your time.

They all seem to work but you won't be getting high settings on high quality games.

I'm not a big PC gamer in terms of games like BF3 or anything like that. I am more a Unity engine game player, and it seems to lag majorly on my current laptop (no surprise there). Do you have any suggestions how to up the quality without increasing the cost too much?
