Windows 7's Taskbar Full Screen Preview Retained in Windows 8?

Does Windows 8 keep the Windows 7 function of “moving the mouse over a taskbar thumbnail to preview the window full screen, and clicking it to open the window”?

yes. It works the same way in windows 8.
