Hey guys,
My computer has been shutting down the instant I run Furmmark and whenever I play a game.
I have a new mobo, cpu, psu, ram, gpu and HDD and yet it still happens.
I am pointing towards the PSU which is a megapower.
My specs are:
CPU - bought today - Intel Core i5 - 3740
Motherboard - ASRock - Z77M 1155 pin
PSU - megapower 750w I think
GPU - nVidia GTX 550ti (Gigabyte)
RAM - swapped and happens with both - Kingston DDR3 and Team Group Inc. DDR3 - 2 and 4 gb
HDD - 2 x 1TB seagate barracuda 7200rpm

PLEASE HELP I HAVE NO CLUE WHHAT THE PROBLEM IS NOW :'(

I'm guessing that's Futuremark (Furmmark).

Yes, I'm also leaning towards the power supply being the culprit. A benchmark was done on a Megapower PSU, and it was found that it was unable to deliver the rated watts and wasn’t particularly efficient. You can read the review here http://****/wp/aywun-megapower-elite-550-power-supply-review/4/

You should exchange that for a trusted manufacturer, like SeaSonic, XFX, or Antec.

Thanks scragnoff, I am going back to the store today to get it tested, and/or a replacement/refund.
I will report on any changes, and/or results of the test.
