Both of those are pretty reliable manufacturers from what I have seen, and Powercolor is probably at about the same level.

Didn't see another 7870LE listed other than the Powercolor. The 7870LE is really a 7950 that's cut down a bit - it's a Tahiti chip rather than a Pitcairn (which is what the normal 7870s are). Powercolor is a fine enough brand, from what I hear.

You could certainly do a normal 7870 and be fine but since that 7870LE wasn't much more money I recommended that.
Reviews of it here (one of that card and one of a different 7870LE):

another name of HD 7870 LE is CLub 3D HD 7870 joker card?? i saw the review & performance and its close to HD again whats the thing is whether my PSU is sufficient enough for all those stuff which u suggested though i have 500watt power supply (corsair CX500)

core i5 3570k
HD 7870 LE (powercolor)
Exreme 3(asrock mobo)

& moreover my velocity - iBall cabin will have enuf room for all those thing to wrap it inside..

as per the feedback given by customer the card is good one but it need more than 500watt itseems though they mentioned in technically as 500w enuf..they facing some power concern..

A CX500 is fine unless you're overclocking everything. The card draws a max of 200W of power, your CPU probably draws 100-150W max power (I forget off hand what it draws exactly) and then you have ~50-100W as a generous amount for everything else... max power draw of your rig could be around the 400-450W mark in a worst case scenario. More likely you'll be using 300-350W under load.

And yeah that Club3d Joker card is a 7870LE.

can u tell me whether i can play farcry 3 & Assassin creed 3 in high settings with core i5 & XFX 6770 ??cuz i have a thought of upgrading a GPU & PSU after couple of months(to get a high end graphic card of ~$500) ??if definetly i cant do play means i would consider upgrading my GPU also. Please clarify on this? :o

A 6670 is really going to struggle with far cry 3... you're probably looking at low settings in that game.

Not sure about assassin's creed 3.

ohh then i should consider upgrading GPU also..i will go for HD7870LE
i5 3570k cpu & asrock extreme 3 mobo..hope i can do play the watch dogs ac-3 GTA 5 in 1600*900 max out..!! do i need cpu cooler for it ???if so suggest me good cooler below 40$

The Cooler Master Hyper 212+ or 212 Evo is the cooler to get if you want an inexpensive 3rd party heatsink. Just make sure it will fit in your case (no idea what your case dimensions are).

Don't need a CPU cooler if you don't plan to OC, but if you're gonna OC you need it.

ok mack thanks for your comments..i concluded to buy the stuff u friend also need a graphic card and need suggestion to pick a good one...his budget is max 230 $ (suggest view graphic cards which wud perform good (his monitor resolution is 1280*1024)

Many thanks :)  :)  :)

at 1280x1024 even an HD 7770 would perform fine but a GTX 660 or HD 7870 would probably be the best card he could get for $230 at that resolution.

which brand should he go for it! XFX or HIS or GIGA or somethng else...?
