GTX 690 on MSI P67A-G45 motherboard

a quick question regarding compatibility: I'm planning to upgrade from GTX 570 to GTX 690. Will it work on my current motherboard, which is MSI P67A-G45? Are there any other hardware components that I need to check for compatibility with GTX 690?

Why did you need that card?.it is mainly for workstation graphics.
