Monitor doesn't turn on?

First time posting. I'm having trouble with my newly built PC. The problem is that whenever I turn on my PC, the monitor gets no signal; it doesn't even do anything (doesn't even turn on). It cant be the monitor because I switch the VGA cable from my old PC which the monitor works fine until I switch it over to the new PC.

Everything works fine when I boot my PC up; all fans spin up, lights go up. However, my motherboard beeps twice. One short, few seconds later, a longer beep. I'm not sure if this is the case of the problem, but I'm using a ASUS Z877 LE LGA 1155 along with a Radeon HD 7850. For PSU, i'm using a 550w. The monitor is a HP W22.

Not sure what the problem is, but any help will be greatly appreciated!

  1. Pls do not bump posts, someone will get to you in time...

You can try and match your beep code to this chart although I don't see the one you mentioned, it is not going to be an issue with your monitor if your MOBO is outputting an error code: http://support.asus.com/pcassistant/pdf/BeepTable_en-us.pdf
  2. You probably have a bad stick of ram. Try each one individually.
